Latter & Blum, founded in 1916, initially focused on commercial real estate before expanding into residential sales. In 1986, Robert Merrick acquired the company, leading to significant growth. Latter & Blum expanded to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1993 and merged with C.J. Brown Realtors in 1995. Over the years, they acquired several firms, including Noles-Frye Realty, ERA Stirling Properties, Van Eaton & Romero, Moffett Realty, Patterson Real Estate, Century 21 Acadia, Realty Associates of Houston, Coldwell Banker Pelican Real Estate, and Gardner Realtors. With over 40 companies and 3,100 agents across 32 offices in four states, Latter & Blum is a dominant force, ranking #1 in the Gulf South and #19 nationwide.
