Choices in Senior Care, LLC
Choices in Senior Care, LLC, and its sister company, Care Around the Block (CAB), offer professional Care Management and task-based Caregiving with no hour minimums, giving our clients peace of mind. Our professional Care Managers act as guides and advocates in the complicated healthcare system by helping our clients map out a plan of care and provide continuous education and monitoring. We offer traditional and task-based caregiving, allowing our clients to schedule caregiving services in increments as small as 15 minutes multiple times a day. Not only does this make caregiving more affordable, but it allows our clients independence and autonomy. Our mission is to provide innovative and affordable care to help our clients age well at home.

There are many words to describe our culture at Choices in Senior Care: appreciative, fun-loving, fast-paced, compassionate, innovative, driven, ever- evolving, supportive. But caring is the one word that defines the essence of our culture and encompasses why we work for Choices in Senior Care and who we are as a company. Every one of us from the administrative staff to the nurse care managers and care partners out in the field realize that how well we do our jobs matters to our clients’ well-being.
Coming together to celebrate birthdays, company anniversaries, and holidays is also a major part of our culture. We have had pool parties, annual Christmas parties, including one at the Knoxville Zoo, soup contests around Halloween, office tailgate parties and employee appreciation luncheons.
Another aspect of our company culture is our desire to give back to local organizations that serve our elderly population such as Mobile Meals, Senior Companions Program, PAWS, and Alzheimer’s Tennessee. We have driven hundreds of miles delivering meals, danced at the Senior Companions Snowflake ball, walked to raise money for Alzheimer’s Tennessee and became chefs at our chili cook- off to benefit the Pat Summitt Foundation. Finally, our give back culture has led us to provide free Savvy Caregiver classes for people caring for family members with dementia, and our free Music and Memory Café.
