Values
- BCA's learning community is dedicated to meeting the unique educational needs of the military child in the 21st century.
- Belle Chasse Academy opened its doors on September 5, 2002 to 600 military dependent children in the greater New Orleans area. BCA routinely serves 900+ students each year. While long in the conceptualization phase, the school rapidly became a reality between October 2000 and September 2002 through the joint efforts of the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve; the Commander, Naval Forces Reserve; and the first Board of Directors of Belle Chasse Academy, Inc., backed by the active support of elected officials, businessmen, and community members
A Louisiana Type II charter school, housed in a modern 123,000 square foot facility, the BCA's learning community is dedicated to meeting the unique educational needs of the military child in the 21st century.
Our Louisiana Department of Education school report card reflects a grade of "A," and BCA is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).
