We have a Compensation Philosophy and strategy that we review, update, and share each year. We use PayScale to determine market ranges for each job in our region and pay at the 65% of the range. Every Logician has at least a monthly 1:1 (sometimes more frequently) and annual review called "The Bob" (not an acronym--long story). We do not tie The Bob to pay.
Our CFO publishes a web-based monthly Dashboard showing all the company finances--revenue, profit, billing efficiency, budgets, etc. Full transparency on all finances, stopping short of sharing salary.
We run weekly pulse surveys through OfficeVibe, publishing all feedback--good, bad, indifferent. Look for trends, problems, issues, as well as celebrations.
