Tax season happens to every public accounting firm, however, we staff so that employees don't have to work Sundays and work less hours than you'd find at larger regional and national firms. We typically don't work any overtime the rest of the year. We are an independently owned firm with 4 shareholders. This allows us to foster a family atmosphere and operate our firm our own way. Our shareholders have spent most of the careers at Hobe & Lucas and value the entrepreneurial opportunities owning a small firm provides.
