Culture is an important part of our company’s success, and we wanted to make sure we carried our special culture forward to new generations of employees as our baby boomers, many with decades of knowledge and experience, began to retire. We formed a cross-functional team of employees, with varying levels of experience, tenure, and positions to help define what makes our culture so special. The team assessed and outlined the various aspects of our company's culture, and developed a “New Employee Culture Day” for all new employees joining the California Water Service Group family to help them learn about and experience our culture. We also align our hiring strategies with our core values of integrity, service, innovation, safety, corporate citizenship, respect and collaboration, agility, and commitment to provide quality, service, and value to all of our employees, who in turn provide quality, service, and value to our customers and communities.
