Employee feedback determined the winners of four Culture Excellence awards
Energage revealed the winners of the October 2021 Top Workplaces national awards, the employer recognition program based solely on employee feedback. Four Culture Excellence awards were announced: DE&I Practices, Employee Well-Being, Professional Development, and Remote Work.See the complete list of October 2021 Top Workplaces National Awards here.
Requirements to participate in the 2021 Top Workplaces national awards
Employers were required to have 150 or more U.S. employees. Organizations could be public, private, nonprofit, or governmental. All participants issued and completed the Energage Workplace Survey to qualify for the program. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including direction, values, cooperation, execution, innovation, leadership, managers, and engagement, to name a few. In addition to meeting or exceeding the overall Top Workplaces national benchmark, winners of DE&I Practices award were selected based on a combination of how they scored on a supplemental questionnaire that measured five key aspects of DE&I practices:- Recruiting and Hiring
- Compensation and Benefits
- Professional Development
- Employee Involvement
- Visible Commitment
How the Top Workplaces national awards were determined
Employers that scored high enough were recognized as Top Workplaces. For the national awards, employers were categorized into four size bands:- 2,500+ employees
- 1,000-2,499 employees
- 500-999 employees
- 150-499 employees
Based on 15 years of research and data from 70,000 organizations and 23 million employee surveys, Energage evaluated organizations against the industry’s most robust benchmark.
