Youth Co-Op is an organization whose focus is to serve youth and families in their quest to become financially independent and self-sufficient. Since its inception 50 years ago, Youth Co-Op has been committed to positively impacting people's lives in our community. Their mission is to provide opportunities for personal growth and act as a bridge to success for underprivileged youth and families. Through various programs such as job training, educational support, refugee resettlement, and career counseling, they have helped countless individuals break barriers and reach their full potential. Today, they continue to strive towards their vision of creating a world where every youth and family can thrive. As a human services organization, Youth Co-Op also serves as a point of reference to other agencies nationwide in matters of resettlement, refugee services, and services to vulnerable populations.
Purpose
Youth Co-Op is a local non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting youth and families in Florida. Since its inception in 1973, Youth Co-Op has been committed to changing lives through training, access to jobs, education, and mentoring. For the past five decades, Youth Co-Op has helped countless individuals gain the necessary skills and resources to succeed in today's ever-changing world. For over 50-years, Youth Co-Op has impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands in our community by providing opportunities for personal growth and acting as a bridge to success for underprivileged youth and families.

Youth Co-Op's vision is to be Florida’s human services partner of choice, delivering quality services that focus on youth and families and add value to the communities we serve.
Mission
Youth Co-Op's mission is to promote the social well-being of Florida youth and families through education, employment and empowerment. In pursuit of this mission Youth Co-Op provides comprehensive career information, employment search, training opportunities, and other related supportive services, free of charge, to residents through strategically located offices. Youth Co-Op also provides individuals with employment and training information, resources and services necessary for career development. With education at the core of its mission, Youth Co-Op operates a K-8 Charter School and a 9-12 Preparatory High School, as well as programs and services to support students and youth, including a stay-in-school program, after school tutoring, a program for refugee youth and their family, and an out of school program for youth who are no longer in school.

Youth Co-Op's management is always thinking and working to anticipate the community's needs and designs and implements programs to fulfill those needs.
