At Wunderman, we strive to bring out the best in one another. We believe that when we’re able to showcase our authentic personalities, leveraging our unique talents and bringing our A-games, our culture–and the work we do–truly shines. We want Wunderman to be a place where we all feel comfortable and confident pursuing our goals and living out our passions. And this takes honest conversations–with our teammates and with our managers. We call these "YOUTime" conversations. Each team member gets a one-on-one conversation with his or her manager at an off-site location to discuss career goals, concerns and aspirations. These conversations can happen as frequently as the team member or manager would like.
"YOUTime 10" is a complement to YOUTime. It's our new self-driven development policy that supports and empowers employees to take charge of their careers by learning new skills and disciplines. Through YOUTime 10, all employees are encouraged to complete at least 10 hours of personal and/or professional development per year.
"Pass It On" is a two-day empowerment workshop designed by women for women. Pass It On is an integrated element of Wunderman’s YOUTime strategy and targets high potential women in mid to senior level positions across the agency. This initiative is about sharing knowledge and experience to build confidence and relationships around our global network. Wunderman holds a Pass It On workshop annually.
"YOU Swap" is Wunderman’s work exchange program for high-potential employees. Employees from one location can office from another location for up to 90 days. The program intends to support employee interests as well as build experience and knowledge sharing across the Wunderman network.
We also have a group of committees that employees participate in on a volunteer basis. "Crew" is our Social Event Planning and Culture Committee. Crew is all about team bonding, building social connections and fostering a healthy balance of work and play in the workplace. "Social Squad" is our social media team, a fun opportunity for our employees to contribute to our social media channels and create meaningful interaction with peers and colleagues. "Spark" provides Wunderman Austin employees with tools for growth and success through professional development training and personal support. "Howdy" is a networking group that fosters relationships within the Austin community by participating in events from different organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Austin Ad Fed, AIGA and more.
