Village Northwest Unlimited (VNU) is a private non-profit organization that provides quality services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, and to those with an Autism Spectrum Disorder VNU has consistently received the highest certification available by CARF, a national accrediting agency.
VNU assists 180 individuals on a daily basis in building successful lives by providing opportunities and choices in a continuum of residential, vocational and social settings while fulfilling its mission of providing Purpose, Privacy and Dignity for all people.
A variety of support services are provided to assist each individual in attaining their greatest level of independence. These include Physical, Occupational, Speech and Music Therapy; Art; cognitive and physical wellness training; leisure and social training; counseling and psychological services; nursing and dietary services; and spiritual growth opportunities.
In addition to its two work centers which prepare individuals for community employment, the Village owns four for-profit businesses that provide work training and employment opportunities.
