VHQC
VHQC is a nonprofit health quality consulting company. Our government customers include the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS). VHQC is moving further into the private sector and expanding both our services and the number of healthcare providers that we can serve.
Currently, VHQC serves as the Medicare Quality Innovation Network - Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for Maryland and Virginia and the Health IT Regional Extension Center (REC) for the Commonwealth. As the QIN, we convene providers, practitioners and patients to build and share knowledge, spread best practices and achieve rapid, wide-scale improvements in patient care. As the REC, VHQC supports primary care providers as they implement an EHR, integrate it into the patient care process and achieve meaningful use.
