Van Michael salons are full service, departmentalized salons, offering the best of hair cutting, styling and coloring, plus makeup application, personal color consultations and the full line of Aveda hair care and skin care products. New Talents Salons offer low cost, yet high quality hair services performed by licensed stylists, who have completed an intensive training program at Van Michael Salon. Van Michael's Artistic Team is utilized by the Aveda Educational Network for national training events. Several Van Michael Salon stylists have won various Hairstylist of the Year categories at the North American Hairstylist Awards (NAHA), one of the industry's top honors, the most recent of these honors taking place in 2014 for 'Best Salon Team.' Among their decades worth of accolades, Van Michael's recent 'Best Of' honors have included: Allure Magazine, Elle Magazine, Atlanta Magazine and Jezebel Magazine.
