Valley Natural Foods is a community-owned food co-op in Burnsville, Minnesota that provides organic, natural and truly local options that represent in many cases direct relationships with growers, producers and providers. The co-op’s FRESH values (family, relationships, education, sustainability, and health) and its mission of a healthy community have remained constant from the beginning. Those humble beginnings led by only several families in 1977, started out in a cramped, shared storefront in Lakeville, Minnesota. Nearly four decades later the co-op grew tenfold to its current, bustling standalone retail space in Burnsville that includes full service meat, deli and produce departments. Valley Natural Foods has over 11,000 owners who Know what the co-op stands for remains constant, who Believe in the store’s mission and values along with wanting to Belong to the co-op community. Regardless of ownership, everyone is welcome to Know, Believe and Belong™ at Valley Natural Foods.
