Utah Food Bank
Utah Food Bank has been Fighting Hunger Statewide since 1904. We are proud to say each dollar donated creates $8.03 worth of goods and services, with 96 cents of every dollar directly supporting our services. COVID-19 has increased the number of Utahns who are food insecure to 511,000, with 1 in 5 kids not always sure where their next meal is coming from. The dramatic increase in need has brought with it extraordinary hurdles, but our staff has met these challenges head-on - with adaptability, determination, and generosity.

Additional Culture Details
Our employees are passionate about Utah Food Bank's mission of fighting hunger statewide! They are actively involved in working with volunteers, organizations and donors at food drives, our annual gala in the spring and 5K/10K race on Thanksgiving morning, and other community events. Utah Food Bank considers itself to be a large employee family. We work together, and we play together. We participate quarterly in cleaning the food bank in teams, and the team responsible for the cleanest area receives a traveling trophy. The holidays are a special time of year for us, and we kick off the holiday season in October with Halloween! Our employees take this holiday celebration very seriously. Each department competes by decorating their areas for our annual employee Halloween Carnival, where employees bring their kids to trick or treat around our offices and play games. Utah Food Bank knows our mission wouldn't be possible without our dedicated employees, many of whom have been with us for the majority of their careers.
