Upper Trinity Regional Water District is a conservation and reclamation district that provides water, wastewater, solid waste and watershed services on a wholesale basis in the Denton County area. We were organized by the cities and utilities we serve, and designed to be progressive, responsive and competitive.
Purpose
Upper Trinity Regional Water District provides a Regional Vision for our Communities by delivering high quality, reliable service. We work together to plan, develop, and manage water and wastewater services.

Upper Trinity Regional Water District -- Provides a Regional Vision for our Communities -- by working together we can provide high quality services for our communities, services that are more cost effective and reliable than if each member acted alone.
* Treated (Drinking Water) - to ensure adequate water supply for this region.
* Long Range Water Supply - to ensure adequate water supplies for the next 50 years from surface water sources.
* Non-Potable Water - to conserve drinking water and extend limited water supplies.
* Water Reclamation - developed regional water reclamation plants using state-of-the-art technology to treat wastewater collected by community systems.
* Watershed Protection - be a leader in educating the public about protecting water quality by limiting the use of pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals.
* Water Conservation - to assure adequate water supplies for the future, conservation of existing resources must become a way of life.
* Collection of Household Hazardous Wastes - working with communities, we have implemented a program to safely collect and dispose of hazardous materials from households.
