University Of Wisconsin-Whitewater
Founded in 1868 as a state normal school, UW-Whitewater is a four-year, co-educational, residential college accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. More than 12,000 students and 1,200 employees make UW-Whitewater their place to study and work. Each year, students from about 40 states and 30 countries choose the university to earn their degree. Our programs have won recognition for recruiting under-represented minority students and empowering them to succeed. UW-Whitewater has a mission to serve students with disabilities. We’re proactive in meeting the educational needs of veterans through flexible programming. Our faculty and staff from all four colleges – Arts and Communication, Business and Economics, Education and Professional Studies, and Letters and Sciences – blend research with powerful classroom experiences. As part of the hands-on learning, students participate in meaningful undergraduate research with faculty mentors. UW-Whitewater now offers a Doctorate in Business Administration.
