First Responder Wellness provides comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment, training and education, and employer support services to the first responder and public safety population.
Our programs ignite real transformation through advanced psychological and psychiatric techniques and evidence-based therapies. Small groups, small caseloads, and a caring culturally competent staff provide the individualized care and training that all clients, family and community partners deserve. We have built a program that also understands the effects of a public safety career on the family and addresses the entire system so healing can begin.

Purpose
To be responsive to the united request by first responder organizations (labor and management) that their members/employees be treated in a separate, first-responder only milieu that is culturally competent, post traumatic stress “injury” informed, and addiction focused. First Responder Wellness will build a trusted niche that is based on our core tenets of confidential, trusted and effective.
Vision
First Responder Wellness provides trauma-based substance abuse and mental health treatment and training designed by our experienced, culturally competent team. We seek input and involve many perspectives from our qualified professionals regarding treatment modalities, treatment activities, support services, family services, and training programs. All staff members are encouraged to use their voices and talents to create the best possible environment for our clients and all add a significant component to our culture that is a direct reflection of the services we provide.
Mission
First Responder Wellness understands the need to treat sensitive issues in a setting that is conducive to creating and holding trust and confidentiality. Our programs exclusively serve first responders and public safety, so from the moment treatment begins they are with others who have lived and experienced the same life. These special heroes have a place where their unique careers are no longer a defense against looking inside because everyone else in the room is a special hero too.

Many of our staff members have even been first responders earlier in their careers, and many have come from first responder and military families.
