Originally founded as a school in Joliet for children with developmental disabilities in 1950, today Trinity Services is a fully accredited nonprofit agency with over 1,200 staff and a budget of $43 million. Headquartered in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Trinity serves over 1,500 children and adults in 24 Illinois communities in northeast Illinois (including Chicago), central and southwest Illinois, and Reno, Nevada. Services include adult day programs, residential services, vocational and supported employment programs, a school, and autism services. Trinity’s behavioral health program offers a wide range of services including psychosocial programs for adults with psychiatric disorders or who have been dually diagnosed with a mental illness and a developmental disability. Trinity’s Family Counseling Center offers counseling services to individual children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couples, groups and family counseling.
