Founded in 1977, Tommy Nobis Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through education, training, and employment services. Based in Metro Atlanta, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to achieve independence, confidence, and success through meaningful work. Through innovative programs, community partnerships, and individualized support, we help people discover their strengths, build valuable skills, and pursue pathways to long-term employment and greater self-sufficiency.
Purpose
Tommy Nobis Center provides comprehensive workforce development, youth transition, and employment programs designed to help people with disabilities achieve career success and greater independence. Our services include employment readiness training, work-based learning opportunities, career coaching, job placement, and long-term support tailored to each individual’s goals. We also partner with employers to connect them with a reliable, motivated workforce while fostering more inclusive workplaces and stronger communities.
