Toledo Lucas County Public Library (TLCPL) sees two million customers annually through its 20 locations and mobile services, providing more than 1,000 service hours each week. TLCPL’s nearly 300,000 library card holders are in the system’s spaces, utilizing key library services that make a meaningful impact on their lives.
With a vision to be the first place people go when they want to broaden their horizons or connect with one another, the Library focuses on five key priorities:
- Help children learn to read (birth-third grade)
- Help students succeed (third-twelfth grade)
- Help adults expand their horizons within our areas of expertise
- Provide technology access and skill development
- Serve as the go-to community connection and hub
