Tipton County Schools
TCS, a rural district in southwest Tennessee, is home to 15 schools with approximately 10,000 students in grades PK-12. We serve a multi-cultural, diverse population of students aged 3-22 and are the 17th largest school district in Tennessee. The school system serves as the largest employer in Tipton County with 1,438 employees. Our students are achieving at high levels, and two schools in our district have recently earned recognition as Reward Schools based on student achievement and growth scores on state assessments.
Tipton County Schools offer a variety of opportunities for our students beyond the traditional classroom experience – award winning CTE programs, band, choir, sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities. We support our employees in a variety of ways: new teacher orientation, building level mentor programs, ongoing professional development, and faculty/staff appreciation activities to celebrate personnel for their hard work and attendance.
