Thomas & Hutton began in 1946 when former U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officers Hue Thomas and Joe Hutton opened an engineering firm in Savannah, Georgia. They set out to support community growth by providing trusted services to municipalities and private developers.
Today, Thomas & Hutton is a multidisciplinary firm with offices across the Southeast, offering civil, environmental, structural, marine, transportation, water resources, and water and wastewater engineering, along with surveying, planning, landscape architecture, GIS, and construction administration.
Our work focuses on designing places that endure and strengthen communities, guided by a culture committed to practical solutions, forward-thinking design, and healthier environments.
