The Portland Montessori School is a non-profit learning organization that has been serving children and families for over sixty years. Rooted in the principles of Montessori education, we offer thoughtfully prepared environments for children from 15 months through 12 years old, guiding them through their most formative years with intention, respect, and care.
Our school is home to a warm, inclusive community of dedicated and experienced educators who are committed to nurturing each child's independence, curiosity, and love of learning.
Located on a beautiful urban campus, TPMS features over an acre of outdoor play space, giving children daily opportunities to connect with nature, explore, and grow through movement and hands-on discovery.
For six decades, TPMS has remained devoted to providing an authentic Montessori experience—supporting the whole child and fostering lifelong learning within a connected and engaged community.
