By embracing integrated teaming, our associates have been able to make personal and professional connections with associates across different departments. These connections help to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is then translated to our agents and policyholders. The personal connections go all the way up to senior and executive level management. Our Chief Financial Officer is a member of our Meals on Wheels teams, and she delivers meals to the elderly in our community alongside associates. The entire executive team can be found around the building, working directly with associates. The CEO knows nearly everyone on a first name basis and routinely lunches with associates in the company dining center. This accessibility to the executive team works to assure associates that their work is important and recognized and that they are cared about, leading to a culture of appreciation and empowerment for all associates.
