The Gateway Family YMCA, formerly the YMCA of Eastern Union County has been serving the communities in Eastern Union County and Northern Middlesex County since 1900. The Gateway Family YMCA serves Avenel, Carteret, Clark, Colonia, Elizabeth, Hillside, Kenilworth, Linden, Port Reading, Rahway, Roselle, Roselle Park, Sewaren, Union, Vauxhall, Winfield Park, and Woodbridge in NJ, and operates the Dudley House Veterans Transitional Housing Program in Plainfield, NJ.
With a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. Anchored in more than 17 neighborhoods throughout Eastern Union and Middlesex Counties in New Jersey, the Y has the long-standing relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change.
