Additional Culture Details
TCM maintains an open, honest, accountable and inclusive workplace that depends on our employees. Through their efforts, insights and willingness to improve processes and workflow, we can better serve our customers and create a rewarding environment that celebrates everyone’s contributions. In short, we are proud of our work. This is reflected in every relationship, every project, and every product we design, build, and maintain.
In 2012, the Leadership team at TCM embarked on a mission to determine who we were in 1953 and who we wanted to be in the future. During the re-branding and identity search, we focused our attention on our people and in creating a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
On August 1, 2014 our strength in numbers grew when Southland Industries acquired TCM as a wholly owned subsidiary. Southland’s focus on people was a natural fit for TCM. Over time this focus has led to many wins and continued successes as we focus on our core values and our people that uphold them.
Our Core Values are the life blood of our business and continually help us put our people first. We continue to build a high-performance workplace, encourage a learning organization mind-set, add value to our brand, and contribute to the achievement of our business goals as well as support our customer needs. The common language we use helps shape us every day and help make us a truly great place to work.
