Sunset Transportation is a St. Louis-based, female-owned, 2nd generation third party logistics company driven by the right-size fit for each business, using all levels of global and domestic supply chain resources and services. Our culture allows customers to feel like family, while offering advanced TMS solutions, reporting, and shipment reliability. Our approach is simple: through analysis of historical shipping data, we identify opportunities for optimization, service improvement, and technology enhancements. All this is done with five promises we make to every customer, every day: savings, visibility, data-driven decisions, continuous improvement, and relationships. Sunset is the right size 3PL.

Our journey began in 1989 as a one-man logistics operation, but with passion, time, and a LOT of elbow grease, we’ve been able to grow into something much bigger. But, to us, bigger only means better if we can stay true to who we are…our founding values are sort of the “logistics” of who we are and what keeps us “delivering”, in a more cosmic, philosophical, way….the Sunset Way. From customers, to carriers, to colleagues we work hard to earn each other’s confidence and trust. We think proactively and aim to always exceed expectations. We own our decisions. Through specialized (expert, practical, ongoing) training, “truckloads” of experience, and good judgment, we always do our best to make the right call. Life (and logistics) can be unpredictable, so we always stay flexible. We find a way to make work work for everyone. We’re in this together, 100%; we are family.
