Our teams focus on reducing the amount of e-waste that ends up in landfills and promoting responsible reuse, repair, and recycling of unwanted electronic equipment. We specialize in e-scrap removal and ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) services for Western and Central New York companies.
Purpose
Sunnking is New York State’s first EPA R2 Certified Electronics Recycling, Data Destruction, & Asset Management company dealing in end-of-life electronics and equipment. Based in Brockport and Whitesboro, NY, their facilities specialize in collecting, refurbishing, reselling, and recycling equipment and electronic products from residential and commercial suppliers throughout New York State and its surrounding areas.

Sunnking's mission is to provide free and convenient recycling to residential customers, along with superior asset management and recovery services to businesses and government organizations.
We use proven reuse and recycling techniques that maximize asset value, promote environmental sustainability, and meet our client's data sanitation requirements.

Sunnking was founded in 2000 as an electronic device reseller. As equipment was bought and sold, there came the point when we had accumulated equipment with no value.

Our owner, Duane Beckett, referred to his previous decade in the scrap metal industry by recycling obsolete equipment. Focusing on clean streams and the environment, Sunnking invested in simple yet effective recycling equipment to separate each commodity.
As the industry of e-scrap evolved and the “green” movement escalated, Sunnking was able to position itself as a leader in the industry. Our combination of scrap metal experience with high-tech sales channels created the model we still use today.
Sunnking has increased recycling volumes to over 25 million pounds annually and is New York State’s first R2-certified recycler.
