Forest Hills is a place where all members of the district are engaged in providing educational opportunities that empower students to excel. With a tradition of excellence and a supportive community, Forest Hills provides an innovative curriculum, high expectations and total devotion to young people. As a comprehensive preschool through 12th grade public school district, FHSD serves approximately 6,700 students in Anderson Township and the Village of Newtown. The district is home to nine neighborhood schools offering more than 150 courses, four global languages, 28 Advanced Placement courses, 100 extracurricular activities, 30 sports and an array of fine and performing arts opportunities. By blending face-to-face instruction with technology, FHSD provides personalized, student-centered learning that empowers students to fully explore their subjects and interests.
