Purpose
Stew Hansen is a Ken Garff Automotive Group company. The founder of the group, Ken Garff, always believed that people were more important than any car he sold. He knew success was based on supporting and building positive relationships not only with customers, but with the community as a whole.
You might expect a car company’s top priority to be cars, but not at Stew Hansen. To us, people are number one (though cars are still a close second).
That’s why our favorite three words are We Hear You. They say so much without us having to say much at all. When we listen to our customers and put their needs first, quality vehicle selection, fair prices, reliable service, and a welcoming environment are all a given.

Vision
Though the Garff Group has steadily grown since its founding, it’s always remained a family business. After Ken retired, his son, Bob, took over, and now his grandson, John, leads the company, continuing the legacy of his father and grandfather. Stew Hansen dealerships are a proud part of this legacy.

At Stew Hansen, we know that our success wouldn’t be possible without our community. That’s why we do all we can to give back. The We’re Here For You program is a way for our dealership to support the people who support them. We always have multiple projects going on, whether it’s revitalizing a community center, providing meals and household items for local families in need, buying supplies for teachers, and much more.
At every location, we have champions of our culture. It is a leadership/mentorship program for employees who live our values. They are the voice of our people and they work with their leaders to execute department initiatives.
Through our PRO TECH program, each technician has a unique opportunity for bonuses, special recognition, and career growth opportunities that they won’t find anywhere else.
Each quarter all employees participate in a week-long RIGHT Step training. Every day during that week, employees receive an email with video training and gather with their leaders to hold discussions, learn, and grow.
