Purpose
At the Ohio Department of Agriculture, we work every day to protect the public and safeguard the state's plants and animals, while at the same time allowing responsible agricultural production to thrive. ODA administers numerous regulatory, food safety, consumer protection, plant health and animal care programs for the benefit of all Ohioans.
