St. Louis County Library is a vital community resource, supporting literacy and partnering with other organizations to support and enrich our community.
In 2024, the library circulated over 11 million items including books, DVDs, eMedia, video games, periodicals and CDs. Last year over 3.2 million people
visited one of our branches. The Library District consists of 20 branches, all of which have undergone significant upgrades as part of the recent Your
Library Renewed campaign. SLCL partners with community organizations around St. Louis to address a wide variety of issues including literacy, food
