SRAM LLC
SRAM, LLC is a leading global designer, manufacturer, and marketer of premium bicycle components. SRAM was established in Chicago, IL in 1987 by six bicycles enthusiasts who revolutionized the bicycle industry with a product called Grip Shift. Twenty seven years, six acquisitions, sixteen locations, and 3,600 employees later, SRAM has grown to become a full line supplier of high quality bicycle components. From the 66 time World Cup winning Rockshox Boxxer fork, to the world’s lightest Paris-Roubaix conquering RED road gruppo, the lightest road groupset on the market, SRAM is dedicated to creating the most innovative, advanced, and high-performance products available. In addition to the full line of bicycle components, SRAM also sponsors World Bicycle Relief, a non-profit organization that distributes bicycles to poverty stricken men and women in Sub-Saharan regions of Africa. World Bicycle Relief has provided more than 100,000 specially designed, locally assembled, rugged bicycles to aid the rebuilding of lives by providing access to education, healthcare, and socioeconomic opportunities.
Additional Culture Details
The culture at SRAM is laid back. We allow employees to have a casual dress code. There is a test track that wraps around the Chicago office, so you often will see SRAMmies testing bikes out on the track.
The environment here is very innovative and energetic. We promote healthy lifestyles by providing a bike storage area and locker rooms with showers, and towel and laundry service.
Lastly, it is a very familial culture. SRAMmies not only ride and race together, but they are all a part of a tight knit community.
