SouthWood’s core values include our people, the quality of our products and the customer service we offer our clients. Our employees make up our most valuable asset – our team – and we strive to appreciate and celebrate their successes through a welcoming and collaborative culture. Going out for a team building dinners, taking all 50 team members to TopGolf for our Christmas Party, encouraging lunches together in common areas, creating stations around the office to have friendly meetings, even renaming “employees” to “team members” in all company materials, are just a few “team” initiatives SouthWood has undertaken over the past year. Because of these initiatives, SouthWood won the 2017 Charlotte Observer Top Workplace award. This award was voted on by our employees.
The quality of our signs comes from our team. As a group of dedicated designers, craftspeople and staff, SouthWood has one enduring goal: to design, build and service the industry’s finest signs. Each and every team member is always making sure our product is of the highest quality and every person is authorized to restart the process if even the smallest flaw is discovered. SouthWood’s Quality Control Assurance Program has one objective: Production of signage results in zero defects and a superior, durable and lasting product for the client. We have one team member completely dedicated to managing this program.
We believe quality extends well beyond our physical products. Our clients consider us an extension of their team and they quickly learn that we are available, attentive and responsive to their needs. We pride ourselves on our client service as much as we take pride in our award-winning signs.
