Southern Management is a customer-oriented, quality-driven property management company and is the largest privately-owned residential property management company in the Mid-Atlantic Region. We opened our doors in 1965 with six (6) employees and have grown to be a leader in the property management industry with 1582 employees, which we call team members. “At Southern, People Come First!” Southern Management owns and operates 74 communities consisting of over 24,000 apartment homes, a ski mountain resort and conference center, a luxury boutique hotel and approximately 837,900 square feet of commercial office and retail space throughout the Baltimore-Washington region. Pride of ownership is reflected in the long-term relationships we enjoy with our residents, commercial tenants, and team members. Although we manage properties, our business is people. We work hard to create great places for people to live, work, play and stay and take pride in the long-term relationships we have with our residents, commercial tenants, hotel guests and team members.
