Sourcewell is the regional service cooperative assigned to serve Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties. We are a self-sustaining government organization that enriches lives in our five-county community through a variety of programs and services to support government, education, and nonprofit entities. We offer professional development, student academic programming, and contracted services to our central-Minnesota members. Statewide, we provide a self-funded group health insurance option for public entities and technology solutions for schools. We’re able to strategically reinvest and support our local community thanks to the revenue generated by our nationwide cooperative purchasing program. Sourcewell staff aim to be force multipliers, empowering public employees to fulfill their service mission of student and community success.

Additional Culture Details
We take great care to create and maintain a culture that values curiosity, collaboration, service, continuous improvement, professional development, and situational leadership. All employees are trained in our organization’s common leadership language and toolkit. Our senior leadership team works with a third-party company to conduct an annual employee engagement survey. The team carefully reviews the findings, meets with each team to discuss their respective results, and works with employees to address areas as needed. Sourcewell encourages employees to participate in professional and local organizations and provide all full-time staff with 8 hours of paid volunteer time annually.
