Sol Levinson & Bros. Funeral Home has been family owned & operated since 1892. For over 130 years, and through five generations, the Levinson family has served the Baltimore, Columbia, Annapolis, and surrounding areas with compassion & respect. Levinson’s provides exceptional funeral care to honor the memory of families’ loved ones through both pre-planning and at-need funeral services. Each family's needs are handled with an emphasis on the details and personal attention they deserve. With two generations actively involved, the Levinson family oversees every aspect of each funeral & demands the level of excellence expected by our families. In 2025 we launched Levinson Monuments. As an extension of Sol Levinson Funeral Home—trusted by families for over 130 years—we provide a seamless, one-stop experience for funeral and monument needs, delivered with the same care, integrity, and attention to detail our community has come to rely on.

In 2022 Sol Levinson & Bros., Inc. celebrated 130 years of operation as one of the oldest family-owned businesses in Baltimore. Currently the fourth and fifth generations of the Levinson family are active in the running of the funeral home on a daily basis. The Levinson family is aware of the unique nature of their organization in today’s rapidly evolving world.
Levinson’s owes a great deal of our continued success to our ability to change with the times while maintaining core values. We place an emphasis on high quality of service and dignity shown to all families. Levinson’s also navigates the delicate balance of incorporating technological and societal changes into Jewish funeral practices that are thousands of years old. In recent years Levinson’s has reached out to the families we serve in the Columbia and Annapolis areas by opening arrangement centers in those locations.
