SKF was founded over 100 years ago in Gothenburg, Sweden and has been an integral member of Greater Philadelphia since 1916. We operate 140 manufacturing locations around the globe with 52 located in North America. Since our beginnings our rolling bearings and related products have reduced friction (energy) in all types of applications.
SKF groups its technologies in five platforms: Bearings and units, Seals, Mechatronics, Services, and Lubrication Systems. By utilizing capabilities from all or some of the platforms, SKF develops tailor-made value-added solutions for customers in 40 industry segments that help improve performance, reduce energy use and lower total costs.
