Shelton School & Evaluation Center
Founded in 1976, Shelton is a non-profit, non-sectarian, co-ed school serving intelligent students with learning differences (dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, and speech and language disorders) in grades Early Childhood through 12. While the school is the centerpiece of its mission, Shelton also encompasses three other major components - a Speech / Language / Hearing Clinic, an Evaluation Center, and an Outreach Center. Shelton also collaborates with major entities involved with research. Whether students leave to return to a mainstream classroom or head to college, they are prepared to advocate for themselves and become responsible, contributing citizens of the world. Shelton is accredited by Independent Schools Association Southwest (ISAS).
