Share Our Strength's mission is to end hunger and poverty in the U.S. and abroad. How do we do that? Through our campaigns, like No Kid Hungry, which will end childhood hunger in the United States, and Cooking Matters, which helps families learn to shop and cook healthier.
It’s a big job, but we’re not alone. We believe that everyone has a strength to share to help ensure every individual can live a healthy and productive life. From chefs to teachers to corporate leaders, everyone has something they can contribute to make life better for kids in need. We also believe that how we treat people is as important as our accomplishments. Co-workers, donors, partners and the families we serve – everyone deserves to be treated with dignity. We accomplish this by focusing on a shared set of values that we live each day.
