For over 30 years, Senior Living Residences (SLR) has been at the forefront of innovation in senior living. Our founders actually helped pioneer the assisted living industry in Massachusetts, with a steadfast commitment to giving seniors the best quality of life possible. The SLR portfolio now includes 20 Independent Living and Assisted Living communities across the Northeast, many of which feature SLR’s proprietary Compass Memory Support Neighborhood®. Our stellar team of 1400+ associates is made up of dedicated, compassionate professionals that provide top-quality care to thousands of seniors every day. Purpose
At Senior Living Residences, we aim to provide top notch Assisted Living and Memory Support communities that allow seniors to pursue their passions, live through new experiences, form close friendships, and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. This is evident in our non-pharmacological approach to treating the symptoms of Alzheimer’s and dementia, our award winning dining program based on the well-researched Mediterranean diet, and our many innovative programs that focus on the individual person’s need for purpose, meaning and lifelong learning.

Vision
SLR’s past and future are based on innovation. Our research-driven programs, from brain healthy nutrition to our renowned Compass Memory Support to education-based programming for seniors with varying levels of cognitive abilities, provide a level of care and choice that is simply not found at other companies. We are also committed to partnering with respected institutions of higher learning that share our values in trying to educate the public and professionals in regards to aging, Alzheimer’s care, the connection between diet and brain health, and so much more.
Mission

Our mission takes a holistic approach to care, as we always have the whole person in mind when it comes to building new programs, developing staff training initiatives and forming strategic partnerships with other like minded organizations like the Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
