Seismic's winning culture comes from a never-ending focus on highlighting the achievements of individual employees, the company as a whole, and how the two intertwine. For example, during the company-wide monthly town hall meetings, co-founder and CEO Doug Winter takes time to celebrate the accomplishments of individual employees over the past month and recognizing how their work contributes to the overall success of the company. Doug also takes time in these meetings to present full updates on the “metrics that matter,” and is radically transparent in how each department is contributing to improving those metrics.
Lastly, our leadership team takes feedback to heart. Our quarterly Pulse survey gives employees the chance to give candid feedback and share their thoughts with the company on potential improvements and ideas. And as we have moved to a remote work environment, leadership continues to gather feedback from the employees and engagement is the top priority of our team.
