Our Doctor, Social Worker, Nurses, Music Therapist, Chaplain, and Interns at our weekly Interdisciplinary Meeting.
Our Supportive Care Team consists of Master's Level Prepared Social Workers, Music Therapists, Chaplains and Student Interns. Our Volunteer Coordinator oversees professionally trained volunteers who visit our patients and families and coordinates special programs such as Pet Therapy, Legacy, our Non profit Foundation, and Veteran's "Vet to Vet" program.
Here our Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator, Susan Shahani, is faciltating a "Drum Circle" along side our Music Therapist, Andrea Scheve, and Social Worker, Mimie deCastro. This is one of many special programs that are offered to our patients, families, and bereaved.
Here our Certified Home Health Aide, Fernando Perez, and Music Therapist, Andrea Scheve, provide a birthday celebration for a hospice patient. Patient birthdays are usually celebrated by our hospice team with a party, cake, and music.
