Scrum Alliance
Purpose
Scrum Alliance is a global 501c(6) not-for-profit membership organization and is recognized as the leading certifying body in the scrum and agile space. As a membership association founded and funded by the agile community for the community, everything that we do is intended to advance agility and scrum practices in the world of work for individuals and teams. We nurture the agile movement by providing education, advocacy, research, community, and connection while providing individuals with substantive certifications and practical skills that positively impact their work and careers.
Vision
Agile and scrum are ways of working that enable teams to achieve success. Our vision is "a world where an agile way of working is so universal, it's simply called working."
Mission
Our mission is to empower and inspire everyone to be a changemaker in their workplace. We live this mission daily through our core values of openness, respect, commitment, courage, and focus. We embrace diversity, different perspectives, and continuous learning opportunities. Together, we create a future where agility is the future of work and how success is achieved in the workplace, which is one of the main reasons we recently launched our new “Agile for Anyone” branding position.
Additional Culture Details

To foster a workplace that promotes well-being and job satisfaction, we have implemented a variety of initiatives designed to support work-life balance, recognition, career growth, and employee engagement. By investing in our people, we aim to create an environment where everyone feels empowered, appreciated, and inspired to contribute their best.
Values
- Courage
- We are willing to say no, to ask for help, and to try things. We question the status quo and challenge with compassion. We are strong enough to adapt to shifting priorities and brave enough to celebrate when things go differently than planned. We speak with candor and clarity because it's kind.
