Sands Capital has a long-term mindset not only in our investments, but also in people, processes and technology. I am given the resources I need to achieve my personal best, and the team around me are also given the resources they need to achieve their best. We are able to engage in long term strategic initiatives without fear of short-term shortfalls or small failures resulting in personal or team hardship.

We get to interact with world-class clients, management, and colleagues every day. I am pushed to achieve more than I otherwise would on my own and I learn so much from my colleagues on a daily basis. Sands has made me a more thoughtful individual in and out of the workplace as I have applied the same rigorous thinking of our investment process to my personal life with success. I feel that the firm encourages our staff to bond with each other, but doesn’t accept complacency. The relatively low employee turnover at Sands seems to be a reflection of continuous high-quality hiring and the improved productivity/well-being that comes with long-standing relationships rather than any kind of stagnation.
