Saint John is the PreK-12 Catholic educational institution serving the Diocese f Youngstown in Ashtabula County. Students enrolled at Saint John reside in Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake county. Within a rich and diverse community of faith, students are prepared to be leaders and good citizens of their community. The academic program provides students with the knowledge and skills to be prepared for further education and the demands of learning in the 21st century. In partnership with parents and families, Saint John instills in graduates the values of faith, service and leadership.

Ashtabula is a small close-knit community. this allows for faculty, staff, students and families to interact in a wide variety of ways both at school and in the community at large.
People believe they can contribute to the growth and development of the school and its students; their ideas are valued and they can play a role in the implementation of new programs both curricular and co-curricular.
Many Saint John faculty and staff have been involved in the school for long period either by teaching at the school, or as alumni or having chosen Saint John as the school of choice for their family.
