Rowntree Gardens is a faith-based, not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, offering warm, caring services in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. This full gamut of care services provide residents (community members) and families a welcome peace of mind. Services include daily meals, enriching activities, health management, Chapel services, transportation, volunteer opportunities, and more.

Mission
The Board of Directors of California Friends Homes (Rowntree Gardens), with guidance from God, will provide a full range of residential and health services designed to serve the changing needs of senior citizens, in a variety of Christian settings, to maximize the quality of their lives, and to fulfill their physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs, consistent with sound financial management.
Additional Culture Details
Rowntree Gardens’ 50th anniversary occured in October 2015, proudly continuing its heritage of employee compassion and devotion to its seniors (community members). Rowntree ensures resources for employees to do on-site job training, provides each staff member one meal a day prepared by Rowntree’s own chef, and encourages all staff to live healthy, happy lives. Rowntree makes it a point to appreciate its employees by hosting special quarterly employee events, including a summer celebration, to which family members and friends are warmly invited.
