Despite growing into a renowned hotel group, Rosen Hotels & Resorts has been able to maintain its family-owned, guest-centric values. This success is reflected in the number of high tenures among associates, including some who have been with the company more than four decades, and the lower turnover percentages in comparison to industry numbers.
Our late founder, Harris Rosen, drove the company culture and set the tone for its dynamics. Mr. Rosen was widely respected as a hand-on leader who made sure to visit each property, spending time with guests and getting to know his associates. This style of leadership and commitment to serving others lives on with the associates who spent years by his side as the company grew to what it is today. A large part of this culture is making sure our associates feel heard, as reflected in the company’s open-door policy which encourages associates to have open lines of communication with any member of leadership, including the President & CEO, Frank Santos, who has spent nearly 40 years with the company.

Thirty-plus years ago, Mr. Rosen created an innovative healthcare plan that provides quality, convenient care with no deductibles or co-insurance, co-pays as little as $5 and approximately 90% of all prescription medication at no cost to the associate or their dependent, including insulin. Another key component of this health plan is the Rosen Medical Center, where associates can easily access doctors, nurses, physical therapists, chiropractors and many other wellness resources. To further remove any barriers to healthcare, associates are encouraged to visit the Medical Center during their shift with transportation provided as needed. Rosen also has a Family Outreach Center that helps associates connect to services and programs that help them financially, emotionally and physically. The program offers financial aid for daycare, food assistance, citizenship classes and many other referral services.
