We have a cross-functional team called the Culture Club that plans events in 5 main areas: Onsite Fun, Offsite Fun, Volunteering/Community Outreach, Wellness, and Recognition. We hold ongoing events and activities in all of these areas. These events are well attended by all employees including our Leadership Team members who are passionate about having a fantastic culture.
Previous activities include: • Bring a Broom Saturday to clean-up downtown Frederick, MD • Dance Like a Chicken Day • Potluck lunches • Random bagel or donut days • Pizza & wings happy hour after achieving key milestones • Ping pong table in the office with periodic company-wide tournaments. • Take Your Child to Work Day • Holiday parties • Company outings to sports games • Bridal “sprinkle/shower” for employee’s upcoming weddings • Company activities to celebrate a variety of "holidays" including International Haiku Day, National Jelly Bean Day, National Scrabble Day...
We are so obsessed with culture, Building and Nurturing Company Culture is one of our four corporate strategic objectives. We have an environment that promotes transparency which is reflected in our office design as well as our ways of working. Most of our workforce operates in an open space and all offices have glass doors. We strive for an environment that is based on psychological safety where employees are comfortable voicing their opinions. We have initiatives in place to solicit ongoing/real time feedback from employees to monitor the pulse of the organization and ensure we are focusing our efforts in the right areas to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
We offer flexible work arrangements including hours and ability to work from home.
