RES Home Care, Inc. was founded in 2000 with a simple guiding principle: to provide high quality community services to Long Island survivors of traumatic brain injury, offered through the New York State Department of Health's Medicaid Waiver Program. Our intent was to emphasize ethical services that were based on some of the basic tenets of the emerging field of neuroscience. Today, RES remains one of the largest providers of services to survivors of TBI on Long Island and is known throughout New York State as a premiere provider of the highest quality Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). As healthcare in America goes through historic transformation, RES continues to be at the forefront of ensuring our community members continue to access the best and widest array of HCBS possible.

Vision
RES began the process of developing innovative programs geared towards meeting the needs of our community members, ultimately developing a continuum of Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) designed to meet our community members' needs. As part of the process, a number of sister companies were formed, and the RES Organization emerged as a system that relies on these companies to provide the highest quality HCBS services to our community members whom have historically had a difficult time negotiating the world of advocacy. RES has remained a leader in trying to ensure our community members have the proper support and advocacy which has become a core part of our mission.
Mission
RES is dedicated to providing a continuum of services to those individuals in need. We strive to allow these individuals the ability to maintain their lives within the community, while offering a safe and supportive foundation.
